The reason this is a fallacy is it's an attempt to justify one's own wrongdoing by accusing the "other side" of doing the same thing. The old saying is that "two wrongs don't make a right". Another part of the fallacy is that it's an accusation. Do we really do it too? Examples please.
You still don't "get" my point.
If you can't argue without a logical fallacy, you shouldn't argue...
So your point is that if you are so good at logic that you can't make logical fallacies, you should not argue? Yeah, that's real good advice.

Great, so you'll be joining in the chorus telling the presuppositionalists to shut the fuck up then?

If he misunderstood what you wrote, then characterizing it as a lie is incorrect.
I wonder what that would be called?

Yeah, sorry, misread that badly.

No problem...
And I didn't mean to appear to accuse you of lying... I guess I presupposed. lol

How does that work? I mean, what's the point of calling yourself a Christian if you don't believe Jesus to be the son of god? I understand that you could follow Jesus' teachings, but I don't get why you would hold onto the label of 'Christian' if you don't believe in Jesus' divinity.
This is a serious question BTW. I'm not trying to give you shit or anything.

Why? To piss off the hypocrites who think they decide who is and who isn't a Christian I guess. Not that I really label myself anything.

Well, I was certain you wouldn't have a valid answer, but that definitely is a valid one.

And I guess this is the whiny maladjusted teenager "you don't understand me" tactic.
My response at this point is typically, "do tell or go sulk in your room".

If you can't explain how and where a logical fallacy was used by your opponent, you shouldn't accuse your opponent of using a logical fallacy.
I'm suddenly having flashbacks to my exchange with Ryft, where he accused me of "begging the question" but could never articulate how despite repeated requests from me. Rather than answer the question directly and coherently, he finally broke down with the same *sigh*-why-am-I-so-cursed-to-try-to-debate-with-idiots-like-you drama.
Just a word of advice that I gave him, putting on a pompous demeanor will not make you look intelligent.
