A blunt declarative sentence is not an argument. Perhaps have a go at explaining 'why.' Perhaps also explain exactly what you mean by 'human potential' 'and how you measure it.

Umm, is English not your first language?

Here,'materialism' tends to be used in the the philosophical sense:

Quote:In philosophy, the theory of materialism holds that the only thing that exists is matter or energy; that all things are composed of material and all phenomena (including consciousness) are the result of material interactions. In other words, matter is the only substance, and reality is identical with the actually occurring states of energy and matter.

Why everything have to be an argument with you? lol

Why are you incapable of answering questions, admitting error or learning anything? (you who boast of wanting to learn new things)

Not saying you are arguing me, but you are asking me to say something in sake of argument when it wasn't an argument to begin with ROFLOL

Actually, I think we'd all be a lot happier if we all collectively just didn't give half a shit about anything unimportant to us. Hoarding's kinda pointless if you never/very rarely do anything with what you do have.

Enjoyment, contentedness, satisfaction, fulfillment... gotta say that I prefer these measures to live life by. The eternal wanting that hoarding infinitely leads to... you can keep it to yourself, thanks Heart

But if hoarding gives you more enjoyment, contentedness, satisfaction, and fulfillment than not hoarding, shouldn't you still hoard?
