I don't believe that. Animals do everything they can to resist pain and death. When animals are killed they exhibit fear and pain.

No one is denying, or should deny that animals feel pain and have emotions. But you are living in a delusion to think that 7 billion people that come from an evolution of being omnivores are going to stop eating animals. The reality is that we do and that wont end anytime soon.

I can agree with raising animals more humanly and finding more painless ways of killing them. But if you think people are going stop because you personally don't like it, cry me a river.

If you don't believe animals can be killed painlessly, you are in denial of countless years of biological research.

Right, because no vegetarian did ever go on a killing spree *coughhitlercough!*

Sure. If I or any of my close ones are in need of eutanasia, I will contact you Smile
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

EVOLUTION has everthing from incects to ocean life to mamals that EAT OTHER ANIMALS, Fish eat smaller fish. Lions and aligators eat other animals. And humans evolved to be omnivores. Why anyone thinks our evolution will change simply because we have evolved brains and are self aware of pain is absurd. Grow up.

I love chicken and pork and beef, and the other majority of humans that eat it are not going to stop simply because you want them to.

I'll tell you what I told the other idiot on the other board about this. There are only two ways one can seperate themselves from things they don't like ON ANY ISSUE, 1. move to a deserted island or 2. Commit suicide. I wouldn't recomend either. So the only other option is to grow up and accept reality as it is.

I'd love to have Angelina Jolie suck my dick, but I am not stalking her because the idea sounds nice.

Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet. - ALBERT EINSTEIN

A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral. - LEO TOLSTOY

I have no doubt that it is a part of the destiny of the human race, in its gradual improvement, to leave off eating animals, as surely as the savage tribes have left off eating each other when they came in contact with the more civilized. - HENRY DAVID THOREAU

RE: Steak
lol. Nice quotes..

Your yet to make a good point as to why we shouldn't eat animals. Just because some famous people said so? I could quote a bunch of meat eaters but that wouldn't be helpful either.

Until we can recreate the taste, texture and nutritional value of meat this conversation is pointless.
It is a moot point.

Oh way to bring down the steak buzz, Krishna-guy. I admit that living high on the food chain while yummy is extravagant. Given the finite capacity of the planet to produce biomass and the enormous number of us humans, it is kind of greedy.

But I have no problem with killing and eating other living beings, whether animal or vegetable. It's what we do. In the web of life we're all on the food chain. I'm an animal and one of the perks is the taste of steak.

One of my favorites, is skirt steak. Some object to its chewiness but for orgasm-in-your-mouth flavor it's tough to beat. I like it done medium on a rotisserie. You may need a toothpick after but it is so worth it.

The only way to go: Filet Mignon with a cream sauce.

...kinda gives me an erection just thinkin about it.

I don't make this as much as I'd like because my wife bitches about the extra calories but get a good strip steak, egg and bread it, and saute it on high heat in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil with garlic, for about 5-6 minutes per side depending on how done you want it.
