ETA: The fact that I don't like guns have no measure on my decision that gun possession should be regulated, but not forbidden. I like to shoot clay pigeons from time to time, but the expense of such sport is way out of my economic possibilities, so its not really a priority in my life. If people are finantially able to do so, its fine by me as long as regulations are met.

I know that this doesn't really have anything to do with the current discussion, but I don't actually know anyone who actually owns a gun... other than the one farmer I know. That farmer's gun is actually the only gun I have ever seen outside a museum. I'll admit that I enjoyed firing it, but I would feel very uneasy having a gun in my house... it would just seem far too strange for to me, and kind of freak me out a little. I'm happy with all my potential melee weapons.

Nice Cop-out, but I would never bring a gun against an unarmed person, I have caught black 400+ pounder bulls charging against me head on, and even after I endured the charge I gently tapped the animal in the neck in appraise for the animals courage and valour. Despite the fact that my ribs ached for like 2 months after the fact.

ETA: you Americans call that a "suicide squad", there is nothing suicidal if you know what your doing.

Nope, I`m serious. I see no reason to dig into some weird fantasy of a possible goverment takeover to justify lesser firearm regulations.

I stick to statistics and fact, and the statistics clearly show that gun control and crime are not connected. Poverty is the main reason for crime. When doing crime preventation one should acknowlege that it is the reasons which lead to the crime being commited which should be fought and not the instrument used to commit the crime.

I would like to see where I changed my opinion simply out of the blue and not due to facts which proved me wrong! After all you said that you "observed" it and I guess since you might know the meaning of that word and the meaning of the word "conclusion" then you know that such a conclusion needs "evidence" to be backed up.

I have until now defended my position that I am againt total gun control and I dont find a single point where I abandoned that possition.

So fuck you, if you just go to make accusations about someones character if you run out of arguments.

Ha, I don't really take anything on this forum that seriously. It is just an internet forum. I mostly just read the jokes. Germans seems like a pretty decent fellow altogether. Sometimes he is funny. I like him. So altogether if his opinion changes from time to time it doesn't cause me great stress.
