Jesus was a shape shifter

RE: Jesus was a shape shifter
If I was Christian, my Jesus would be able to shoot laser beams from his eyes and smite the wicked with just his thoughts.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

If I believed, life would be a lot more like this shit happening in Good Omens.

He walks on water, he floats in the sky, he heals disease, he raises from the dead .... umm yeah, I don't know why the hell they left the shape-shifting out? Seems totally plausible - right Drich!?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news GC' but the NT doesn't line up with the entirety of itself.

You're doing what many here accuse Christians of doing, no examples of proof.

Just because old writings were discovered, does not mean they have truth in them.

Good you understood what I meant.

My Jesus can do that, read the NT you might be surprised. Being Christian holds little water, being a Christian is the thing that matters. This is what I've argued in the past and will never differ from this.
Your statement sounds like this, being Jewish makes one a Jew, when reality says being a Jew makes one Jewish, if the one so chooses.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

And how does this prove Jesus did not rise from the grave? The resurrection is the important part, the number of women and disciples, or the time of morning, has nothing to do with salvation and eternal life with God.

A. How does the NT prove that he did?

B. WTF does that have to do with the conversation?

What it shows is that the story is bullshit made up by different authors who could not agree on the details.

Now...add in the fact that none of it actually shows your godboy "resurrecting" and you have a serious problem.

The last few people to see that list tend to comment on the minor discrepancies shown, even though there are a total of ten discrepancies in the list, and not all of them minor. Taken as a whole, along with other contradictions and mistakes, and it's hard to believe that it's just a few differences in recollection that is driving the many issues with consistency.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
