If indeed you want to have an in-depth chat about whether or not I was True Christian, then hey let's do it. But standing here accusing me of faking things when I'm obviously joking (at the expense of Christians everywhere), then I don't think you're mature enough to handle a conversation with me.

Okay. Let's have a mature conversation. You said that you spoke in tongues, but you also said that speaking in tongues is bogus, so I asked you if you were faking it. I understand your humor, in that you were speaking facetiously, so I assumed that you were faking it. So far I haven't been able to ascertain directly whether you or anyone else was faking speaking in tongues. I'm not trying to entrap you here. I've been a christian for awhile now and I've never spoken in tongues, but have always wanted to. I'm trying to understand what kind of special edification people get from it.

Thanks for the source. It speaks of various possibilities, but maybe there are others in the forum that can speak from personal experience.

No, you will not, at least here, on the intro thread of another person, hijacking it for your pourposes. Make your own thread about "faking christians and other not True Christians™" if you will. Altough this isn't specifically in the rules, were you raised in a barn or somethinng? Because there are people raised in barns that are more polite.
