I don't know what it would mean. If ghosts were somehow real it would make me have to seriously reconsider my whole worldview. They aren't though.

If ghosts were somehow real it would make me have to seriously reconsider my whole worldview. They aren't though. Well the only two options are not Atheism and Christianity. If Ghosts were irreconcilably proven to be real I would definitely have to reevaluate my beliefs. I doubt that it would lead to Christianity. It doesn't matter though, because they aren't real. We live in an area where everyone has a video camera in their pocket via smartphones.
ChristW, we barely know and understand the universe we live in.
Sure, all this stuff could be real, it's possible. But until it can be proved by the scientific method, you may as well be arguing for the existence of leprechauns. Posting anonymous low res dodgy videos isn't helping your cause or your reputation as a clear thinker.

Again, "ghosts" could be other phenomenon not associated with the Judeo-Christian belief system. Well, that is the point of my posts. There are other phenomenon tied to each other(thank goodness for the technology of camera phones, etc). The reason why Christianity could not be the option is because of textual contradictions and the (possible) existence of ETs. OK, let me provide other videos and then...think mix it with the earlier video and formulate a possible theory, remember my hypothesis is that ETs are responsible for apparitions or "ghosts" through their technology: RE: The existence of "Ghosts" means...

If you had any scientific background and took philosophy you could simply observe my posts as postulates to an hypothesis. Simply, leprechauns could not be proven because there is no ounce of data to confirm their existence. If there were we could have some data by some person with a camera phone showing ...a golden pot with money and rainbows in some wood area in Ireland!!! As for UFOs/ETs and "ghosts", for some odd reason we have plenty of those available!!! (August 14, 2014 at 9:24 pm)ignoramus Wrote: ChristW, we barely know and understand the universe we live in. 1. I agree with you 100% on trying to understand the universe. it is religious people who have the burden of proof to provide. 2. Possible better than impossible belief in "angels" and "demons". 3. The scientific method was presented but the goal is never 100% proof. If you took any philosophy class you could understand the difference between absolute strong proof and weak proof. 4. "Anonymous low res dodgy videos" is a flaw in your part and guess what it is? ... it is called - "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy. By the way, I am a clear thinker. Man, is this the way you debate against people who believe in Christianity or other belief systems? (August 14, 2014 at 9:30 pm)Sejanus Wrote: Ad Hominem, man you are desperate and silly. Translation; you're talking bullshit. Oh nice, resorting to absurdities. Wrong! you do have to be familiar with the scientific method. You definitely need to take courses. You could respond to any post, of course, but knowing how and what to present as concrete evidence is the key. The Leprechaun reference was a joke, so i do not know where you going with that notion? Are you denying that there vids on "UFOs" and "ghosts"? There are but it just is not 100% verifiable that does not mean it is not true. You better utilize Obamacare to cleanse out your colon because it is full of shit or something else entirely!
Let's start again...
What is your point? You want us to believe this stuff? Fine, let's talk about about it scientifically. No god, no dodgy photos, no bs. Let's go, you first ...you're making the claims. Let's find out how far your logic and clarity of thought gets you.
