And it also doesn't have a damn thing to do with the fact that you believe that the proposition "God=universe=us" is true!

If you believe that:

Emotions and intuition are sufficient in determining the truth of a proposition

And:

You believe that "god=universe=us" because of your emotions and intuitions

But:

You reject contradictory conclusions reached by others using the exact same criteria.

Then you either:

1. Believe that your emotional/intuitive conclusions are better than those of any person who reaches any contradictory conclusion and thus are acceptable to hold a positive belief in.

Or

2. Believe in your conclusions even though they are no better supported than any other contradictory conclusion reached using emotions/intuition because you don't actually give a shit about the truth.

It's either one or the other, unless you can think of a 3rd option that is consistent with both believing that emotions/intuition is sufficient for determining the truth of a proposition and rejecting the conclusions of everyone else who arrives at contradictory conclusions via this criteria.

Whether or not I reject someone else's take on life depends on whether or not I agree and if it feels right.

You reject Christian (for example) emotions and intuitions regarding the nature of God, even though they meet the exact same criteria that you have already admitted to using yourself in deciding that your conclusion of "god=universe=us"

Please explain how that is in any way the reasoning of someone who gives a shit about what is and what is not true. By what thought do you reject their conclusions?
