I write this as I lay here putting off packing. I'm moving after just over a year living alone. I'm moving home to my parents house. In a way this is sad because they live about 20 minutes away and most of my friends live here. Still this is a good time for me, as I am moving so I can save money in order to study in Germany.
As of now I am accepted to the geothe-insitut in freidburg im breisgau. This is going to a challenge, especially saving enough money and learning German. The worst part is that I haven't made up my mind on what I want to study after the geothe-insitut. Its kind of a toss up between medicine and archeology. I know I could do great in either field, but as I fucking love history, but I loved neurology for a long time, and that interest holds a deep meaning for as some one with a vague diagnosis of high functioning autism. There are such huge holes in our knowledge in both fields that it is kind of exciting.
Also for anyone living in or that studied in Germany I have so many questions, like what kind of beer will make me look like a foreigner, or what's the closest equivalent to a statsexman in a anglophone unversity or how hard is it to get a visa so I can work for a few months before I apply to a school. Oh and how is the music scene these days, as Germany is known for great metal.
