Anime anyone?
Favorite anime? What you watching/reading?

Hands down favorite anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I have to get to reading Berserk but the black swordsman arc bores me.FSM Grin

RE: Anime anyone?
I liked DragonBallz when I was younger. Does that count? Cuz I feel like it doesn't.

More recently I watched Attack on Titan because I just got Netflix. I thought it was really imaginative and entertaining, but I found the writing to be nonsensical and frustrating at times.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Most anime seems to always eventually turn out that way even from a original idea. I personally didn't like attack on titans, I did until the point the main character came back from the dead.

I liked Dragon ball as well, though looking back at it it is pretty cheesy

There's anime that isn't cheesy?

There is only one true anime and one true vampire (or two)

I'm waiting for Fate Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works (season 2)

I am watching the original Hellsing (Not Ultimate) and also Monster

Attack On Titan is cool but not exceptional. There's better anime out there

I'd include all the anime I've watched, but it might break the textbox.

Right now, I'm watching some shounen stuff including Naruto and Toriko. I'm also watching Log Horizon currently, which I really enjoy. I'm considering checking out Hunter x Hunter because I keep hearing such good things about it.

@Dystopia: Where are you watching Monster? I watched it and loved what I saw of it when the dubbed version used to air on Sci-Fi years back. I never got to finish it though.

I dislike dubbed, both in English and in my native.

I download from a brazilian website that has 1080p/720p quality and includes Portuguese subs. In the case of Monster the most I managed to get my hands on was 640x480 resolution since there are not many HD version out there - But Monster isn't much about graphics. A funny thing - In Monster characters don't have unrealistic faces and hair like in other Anime, everyone looks normal and human

Naruto is the only shonen I watch but I'm waiting until they cut the fillers for me to get back on track... I've finished the manga, so I already know what will happen.

If you haven't watched Hellsing, I recommend.

The filler is tough to deal with on Naruto. I dropped it for a long, long time and then picked it up again and skipped all of the eye-burning filler. I'm caught up now but it's reached yet another filler arc. Undecided

I was watching Hellsing, but I kind of lost interest and dropped it. I need to try and finish it. Oh, I forgot to mention some of my favorites:

- The Vision of Escaflowne - I really can't recommend this highly enough. It's like a mix of mecha and fantasy. It is fantastic in every way.

- Samurai Champloo - Cool show, funky beats in Edo-period Japan. What's not to like?

- Sword of the Stranger - It's a movie, not a series, but it's an awesome ride.

- FullMetal Alchemist (original) - I was debating on whether to include this as a favorite. There are a few things I wish were different, but overall it is well worth watching.

- Gurren Lagann - Pure insanity. Watch it, love it.

- Kill la Kill - From the same folks behind Gurren Lagann, this show is balls-to-the-walls action and fan service from start to finish.
