If evolution is real, then why are there still monkey animal crackers?? lol sorry.. thats my attempt at a joke while eating some animal crackers at work...

it would have been funnier if the actual picture went through... needless to say, i am new to this forum.. can anyone tell me how to properly post a pic?

You need to host the pic somewhere like imgur, photobucket, flickr, etc.

The Facebook Link is not in a format that can be recognized by the forum software. It needs to be hosted by filename. I use Flickr, it's really easy to upload to, and also easy to change the size of the image that you are sharing. Plus the website has BBCode built into the sharing function, so you only have to copy/paste and it will work here.
Another easy solution would be to remove the [img] tags and just let it be a link, but you would want to be careful with posting links to your FB account on a public forum.

flickr is pretty good. you get 1TB(!) of space for photos for free.

Honestly, all you have to do is right click the image and select "Copy Image Location."

It won't work with a FB image. The forum software doesn't recognize the image location as an image.
