"Relentlessly gay" yard in Baltimore
#21
RE: "Relentlessly gay" yard in Baltimore
I don't know why so many of these people think being gay and being Christian are mutually exclusive... lots of people who have had a divorce are Christian, lots of people who have sex outside marriage are Christian, for reasons beyond my comprehension lots of women are Christian. Yes, lots of gays are Christian too. Also lots of these men who bitch on and on about "the faygs" and "Gawd" are fucking closet-queens themselves, because they are too fucking interested in this not to be. Gays have been saying this for years, then what happens? A Republican gets outed gay on Grindr.

That "concerned neighbour" is a closet gay person, who is worried the gayness of that garden is going to bring it out in them.

[Dispatcher]: 911, what's your emergency?

[Caller]: I'd like to report a disturbance.

[Dispatcher]: What is the nature of the problem?

[Caller]: I have this neighbor whose yard is a threat to children.

[Dispatcher]: What do you mean, sir?

[Caller]: The yard is gay.

[Dispatcher]: Gay? Is that what you said, sir? Gay?

[Caller]: Yes, gay. Relentlessly gay. Aggressively gay.

[Dispatcher]: I see. Can you elaborate?

[Caller]: Well, there are colored jars hanging everywhere. And everything is groomed.

[Dispatcher]: I'm not sure that qual--

[Caller]: And rainbows.

[Dispatcher]: Rainbows?

[Caller]: I'm pretty sure they are growing orchids somewhere.

[Dispatcher]: Wait, orchids? I don't --

[Caller]: Yes, orchids. Like Robert Mapplethorpe orchids. It's disgusting!

[Dispatcher]: Growing orchids isn't a crime.

[Caller]: But the children! I'm a god-fearing--

[Dispatcher]: Look, I don't see any reason--

[Caller]: When I think of them having anal sex--

[Dispatcher]: They are having sex in public?

[Caller]: No, but their yard! It's, it's . . .

[Dispatcher]: I don't think there is any reason to send--

[Caller]: I, um . . . well, er, did I mention that they are black?

[Dispatcher]: Stay on the line, sir. I am sending a squad car immediately.

There are even gay conservatives which is even more incomprehensible to me. You can cherry pick your own version of god, but you can't do that with conservative parties. They are real, they're present and they are pretty vocal about their positions.

Baffles me too

A conservative gay is like having chocolate that tastes like sprouts.

Dunno, dude, some people have some funny ideas about what the cops are there for.

Case in point: A man called 911 over 80 times to try and get the cops to bring him Kool-Aid, Burgers, and Marijuana.

Back to the OP, here's the big question: how is a "Relentlessly gay" front yard in any way actionable?

"something" et the bunny. To that small extent, my yard is now that much more gay.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Seconded.  People infuriate me.  If that had been me, I'd just have written a letter back that read "Dear concerned homeowner, I don't have to respect your imaginary friend, because I don't respect figments of others' imagination.  Your refusal to let me decorate my private yard with peaceable, nonviolent, non-discriminatory images as I see fit is a denial of my right to free expression, and blatant discrimination.  Show some acceptance, and love your neighbour the way your god would want you to, and don't expect the police to do anything about your petty grievances which have no legal standing.  Sincerely, a "relentlessly gay" individual.""

I don't get the "gay yard" at all. Is there something else in the yard or on the house beside rainbow colored vessels?

When I left the house this AM there was a rainbow in the sky. Damn gays, leave the sky alone! Wait, I think I heard somewhere that the rainbow was made by god. Something like a promise to never flood the earth again? If I'm correct then Woo Hoo, god and gays on the same side. What a miracle!
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Regular gay people try to force their world-view on your children. Relentlessly gay people do the same, but apparently with more gusto...and rainbows.

1rst Amendment. Gays can show/speak whatever they want. No one has the national right to assault a first Amendment acter-outer. Sheesh, some Christians don't get the constitution.
