Pubic Hair and Hygiene

So I don't really understand the people who keep saying pubic hair is unhygienic. Unless you're dirty and don't bathe daily then I don't understand the hygiene factor of waxing or shaving. Someone explain this to me! Since when are pubes dirty?

Well, it's pretty obvious tbh, having no hair down there gives germs and bacteria nowhere to cling onto. Interestingly I read somewhere that everyone with beards has more germs on their face than other people too.
I don't think that really makes anyone more hygienic than anyone else though, just having no pubes don't automatically mean you're hygienic and vice versa. People are still in control of how much they wash.
Btw this is probably one of the more random thread topics I've seen.

It is a matter of how thoroughly you wash down there ultimately. Some people with full length pubic hair will be cleaner than people with none.
I do keep mine trimmed because I hate how it falls out everywhere when it is long. It definitely feels and looks cleaner. I don't like having none at all though because that itches horrifically, I just keep it trimmed neat.
I just think the overgrown bush isn't a good look, I'd be turned off if a guy had more foliage than visible stem.

As a straight male I enjoy a little of public hair on my girlfriend, it makes her look older and experienced and it helps my wild fantasies, but I guess it is a matter of preference. I'm not a big fan of completely shaven pubes - Trimming is a better idea. Honestly I shave my pubes every 2 months with a razor because I don't have a proper trimmer.

I am a straight man.
I like natural pubic hair. I think it is better for sex, as you don't have the skin on skin friction that you will have without it.
I also like daily bathing/showering. The idea that hair must be unclean is absurd.
I personally think the fad for shaved is due to the porn industry. A shaved area makes it easier to see things in the pictures, and so when people see that, they think that that is best. But porn is made for how it looks to the viewer, not for how it feels for the participants.

That is exactly why I like growing a beard. There is always something in there somewhere to snack on.

I like to remove it sometimes, it makes me feel good and free down there, but from personal experience no pubic hair can cause itching and more sweating in some cases.

A gardening thread! Sweet. That's a common effect of overexposure. Apply moisture all the way to the base to achieve full turgor pressure.
