Post: RE: Abortion is morally wrong

Julia I have been arguing that you must put fetus' into the category of human beings because it is the only consistent application of the definitional, and organizational concept of human beings. As f...

Esquilax, as I have been arguing throughout this thread that in order to be consistent in attributing rights to human beings we must consider fetus' human. My argument is deductive argument and unles...

Julia, your quotes support my original thesis. A man women or child belonging to the species Homo sapien. Than it shows certain characteristics of how you might distinguish one epistemologically. In ...

I stated my argument, to my knowledge no defeaters have knocked down my thesis. Therefore, it stands. Cthulhu you do know what objective morality is right? All I'm basing my argument on is that it is...

Once again, Im moving from the assumption that objective morality exists. If we don't assume that, than genital mutilation, murder, ect. is morally permissible. Your question has nothing to do with th...

Chuck, I am my harshest critic believe me! The arguments thus far presented have not been adequate to defeat my thesis.

The question is a red-hearing. The question has nothing to do with my thesis but is an entirely different discussion altogether. Like I said, Im using the principle that killing an innocent human is w...

You don't need God to decide the human rights of the fetus. My arguments have no reliance upon that

Im not basing my argument on god. Just the moral imperative that killing an innocent human being is wrong. If you deny this than I have no clue why you were arguing bodily rights in the first place

I understand what your saying, this entire thread I've been saying why that idea is misplaced. In order to not exhaust myself in rehashed replies, perhaps re-read some of my posts. Kindest regards,

My motus ponens is as follows: 1. It is morally impermissible to kill an innocent human being 2. A fetus is an innocent human being 3. Ergo, it is morally impermissible to kill a fetus. Esquilax, o...
