Harrison Bergeron would be a good one! I've never seen the movie but I've read the story. Love Kurt Vonnegut.

Thanks for all the great suggestions, I'll let you guys know what I decide on!
I'm thinking "The Butterfly Effect" might be a good one (I've never seen it) though.

I remember philosophy class being about things like weighing the wellfare of the maority against that of the few. So it's tempting to suggest Wrath of Khan. But I think Brave New World or Logan's Run would be a real softball. The paper practically writes itself.

thats true too infidel. Really, the concept of philosophy is pretty open ended. I was thinking of doing 'Cider House Rules' and doing something along the lines of does the end justify the means?
