We don't have a GPA. But I was a very very good student. Though not the best. I think I ranked #3 in my class in the final record... Could probably have done better if I'd done homework.
Of course I have to agree with Kitan: grades are what the school system uses to assign a number to you, their meaning is not obvious. They mostly mean that one is good at getting good grades.

I was the opposite... natural at Physics, Chem and Maths, failed English because I didn't read any of the novels to comment on!
But I have a good excuse! I discovered girls! yum!

I was a natural at English and history, but I sucked at science and math.

The only reason i sucked in studies was because it was too boring for me
And some concepts of Math were really hard for me to grasp as well.. ; _ ; Even in the degree program i'm doing now, which is basically at it's core software engineering,i'm not the highest scoring guy. *sigh*
I got pretty damn good grades up untill high school. You can't say I did horrible, because you can't say I did anything. The only thing I did well in was art and science, partly due to my interest and partly due to the excellent teachers I had in those subjects. I had the horrible luck o having the same math teacher for all four years of highschool, and she was notoriously bad at her job. She got to keep it because she was an excellent girls basketball coach... -_-
Then in college I kicked ass at everything. Would have had a 4.0, but I screwed myself. You were allowed to drop a class and retake it in another semester, so I dropped environmental science, because it conflicted with my schedule. I was told everything was cool, but at the end of the semester I received a zero. They checked it out when I complained and found that I dropped the class too late, even though I was assured I had done everything properly. I should have just sucked it up and taken the class.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue (August 31, 2015 at 7:05 am)Exian Wrote: I had the horrible luck o having the same math teacher for all four years of highschool, and she was notoriously bad at her job. Same with me. You know what's funny? The only teacher I really did respect and still respect, although he's probably long dead by now, was in a class I didn't even have to attend. Religious studies. I checked myself out of that course out of principle. But I did attend, although I didn't get any grades for attending. The reason was, this man, a heavy weight, white bearded elderly guy - a theologian, deeply religious, was the most understanding, kind and tolerant man I had the good fortune to meet. He never talked about scripture or Jesus or anything along these lines. Instead he invited us to discuss certain life issues that were important for teenagers. He wasn't opposed to sex before marriage and even offered sex ed when necessary. What I took away from that course I didn't have to attend, was a foundation of ethics. It did nothing to lead me back to religion and I guess he never even intended to try that with any of us. RE: Were you a high GPA student?

I also had a fantastic religious instruction teacher, lovely guy.
