I was thinking of checking out the spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, which just started.

It was kind of slow and a bit boring. I'm hoping that'll change now that everything's been set up.
I am actually quite liking this show.

The writers are in a tough spot. We're all waiting for the big TWD shocking moment, and it just can't happen. We all know what's coming. And a lot of it has been done before. They can't just have one of the characters turn a street corner into a giant zombie horde. Their only option is to slowly reveal what we already know is coming. Not a great option. Unless the character development is absolutely stellar, I do t see this going very far. I really hope I'm wrong though because I want another vehicle with big shocking moments.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue (August 31, 2015 at 10:46 pm)Exian Wrote: The writers are in a tough spot. I'll watch again next week, because I have nothing else to do. They better bring some serious zombie killin!
I think making a series out of a prequel is tough, and so far, I'm not connecting with it. I'll keep giving it a chance for a few more episodes, though. Just in case.
