Zoroastrianism?

Zoroastrianism?
Does anyone know much about this most ancient faith?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism

They say it is one of the main inspirations for Islam, Judaism and (God's favorite Wink !)Christianity!

As far as monotheisms go, it doesn't seem too bad. It says that all people, whether Z or not, must be on the side of good (or truth) against evil (or "the lie")

Their "Fall of man" story makes a little bit more sense. Instead of Adam and Eve being tricked by a serpant into going after an attractive nuisance (apple tree), in Zoroastrianism, it really was just Angra Maiyu (or the evil God, rather than Satan) trying to mess up Ahura Mazda (Good God's) creation.

While there is a Hell, it is ultimately a place of reform as opposed to eternal punishment.

Any knowledge of this most ancient sect?

I used to drive a Mazda. That's about it. Sorry.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

RE: Zoroastrianism?
There was a man who, in his thirties, started receiving revelations from an angel of god. He was a good man, but those in power didn't appreciate his preaching. Those in power offered him everything, but still he kept on preaching, determined that people should know the truth.

If you thought I was talking about Zarathustra you'd be correct. But you'd also be correct if you thought I was talking about Muhammad. Isn't that interesting? When the marauders from southern Arabia invaded Persia they must have copied from the Zarathustrians. Wow!

I've read a little about Z-ism before for fun.  Seems like it's largely allegory similar to other messianic religions.

You have to be born into it; no converts.  Almost all of the Christian beliefs mirror it.

Its pre-emption of modern monotheistic ideas and relative obscurity says two things:

1. Xtianity is not only bad, it's not even original
and
2. The Zoroastrian god wasn't jealous and angry enough to bully people out of seeking other answers.
