"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Another forum where I'm a member gives the option to only allow PMs and visitor msgs (it's vBulletin) from friend/contact lists. A very useful feature to keep people from shitting up one's inbox over a contentious thread.

I don't think I'd ever block somebody that was antagonizing me. If someone goes out of their way to talk shit about me, I'd prefer to know about it...and if a poster is simply a generally annoying rambler, I'll skip his or her posts altogether.
Relentless, uninvited perversion might warrant blocking a user. I'd try brutal language first, though.

I can see the guys here now, crossing this off their lists.

I'd like to see someone try that now.

I can't speak for anyone else, but if anyone uses brutal language in response to relentless, unwanted perversion - well, that's simply a case of the asshole getting what he deserved, and I'll vote accordingly.

I don't intend on blocking anyone, I'm just curious since I know some people have me blocked lol.
Wow, over-reaction much? It was one picture Catholic. Followed by another one. Then another one.
Oh and then a bonus one for good measure. You're welcome.

Just to clarify:
Relentless, invited perversion would warrant blatant encouragement, and probable reciprocation.
