Oh, dear. Ok, seriously. In April, Oz is going to be about in the middle of autumn. Not scorching, not frigid. Dress like you would for fall weather at home (wherever home happens to be).
As to style, Australia is a Western country. So, casual would be denims, pullover shirts, a cap (if your a hat type), and weather- appropriate footwear. I'd probably refrain from dressing like Crocodile Dundee, or bringing along your 'I Australia' t-shirts. Boru

Kusa, can you buy me a ticket to Australia too?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Or you can dress in your most obvious Texan gear, the bigger the hat, the better, and be as loud and obnoxious as you can.

Considering all the poisonous reptiles, snakes, plants, insects, spiders, bugs, animals and fungi in Australia, you might want to wear one of these:
and you might want to carry a flame thrower, or just nuke the place from orbit first, to be sure. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I will take pics however. Speaking of pictures, I will be wearing this iPhone out. In just over a week I'm going to Aruba. Then shortly after I get back, I'm going to Port Douglas and Sydney Australia. On the way back from Australia I'm stopping into Las Vegas for a few days.
This.

Enjoy.
