A pointless definition of sexism, which you seem to want to use: that merely acknowledging any systematic statistical differences between men and women should be considered sexist.
Quote:You think it's sexist to say men are smarter than women but not sexist to say women are weaker than men? Double standard or just indoctrination?
Subtlety, pool, subtlety. In what sense are you talking about "men" and "women" as a group when you know that there is so much statistical variation. Throwing out ill-defined words will not do here. What does smart mean, what does weaker/stronger mean. If you don't specify these things, your speech has little real meaning.

1. Then you're not a sexist.
2. Sexism is not I'll defined. Think men are better than women? Think women are better than men? You're sexist.
3. Think women are weaker than men in some aspects? You're sexist.
As for a definition of smart, I can't provide it, no one in the world can provide it. There are disagreements even with iq tests as they are demonstrably unable to evaluate creativity or imagination.

My suspicion is that you have a beef with the concept of sexism and try to force a nonsensical use of the word on us in order to feel vindicated that the concept is not valid. That's a very cheap rhetorical device, basically a strawperson (*), drop it.

I hope you aren't thinking that sexism is beneficial if it favors women.
You do realize that makes you sexist, right?

I honestly don't know what you are talking about or how it relates to what I said before.

You seem against any idea of sexism when it favors men but you seem for any idea of sexism that favors women.
You would think it's sexist if I said men are smarter than women, right?
But you seem okay with the concept that women are inferior to men in some aspects.Come to think of it, do you hold a single view of sexism that works against women? Now think about if you hold any view of sexism that works for women and against men?

How exactly did you crystal-ball that, because I certainly didn't say anything to that effect, did I?

Come on pool, reel your cock in mate. This thread reads like you're trying to pick a fight for no good reason.
Nothing that Alex has said is sexist.

He's not going to get me to fight with him, but I do wonder what his problem is.
