And there's that Christian "whatever you want to believe" line. It has nothing to do with what I want to believe. The man was a Catholic, and Catholics are Christians. You have no way of saying otherwise except to appeal to a fallacy and then claim the fallacy doesn't apply to you because "obviously."
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

I'm not quitting I'm tired of you reorganizing the argument just to suit your self and have your fun with Christians. The Bible tells us who Christians are and who are not, go read Paul's writings.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Paul's writings are bad enough in their own right. At least for people having some shreds of human decency left and don't subscribe to misogyiny, endorsments of slavery and other things along these beautiful lines.
By the way, you don't extend the same courtesy to atheists. We are all alike for you, ready for your judgmental attitudes. Probably because we don't have a mgic book to go by. Which leads me to the no true scotsman fallacy. People considering themselves christians, pray to the same god as you do. It makes no difference that you're not agreeing with them. They are christians by self definition.
Which is entirely moot in this discussion, since Hitler probably didn't consider himself a christian. The lines become more blurry though with human gems such as Mussolini, Franco or Pinochet. These examples of humanities best certainly considered themselves to be christians, closely aligned with the catholic church.
I know, I know, since you're subscribing to the evangelical madness, which I consider more hurtful than the Catholic one, you don't consider Catholics to be real christians also. Which, as far as your opinion is concerned, is a moot point too.

So the arbiter of who is a christian is a man who never met your Jebus, didn't know the first fucking thing about your Jebus' supposed theology (otherwise, why was he so at loggerheads of the Jerusalem branch of the cult over theology), and could at best be described as a man who suffered brain trauma causing him to suffer schizophrenic delusions (after striking his head {supposedly} he started having "visions"), but most likely was an out and out conman creating a religion for a quick solidus.

I have read Paul's writings. I've read the whole Bible. Nothing in those pages demonstrates that there is any supernatural quality or magical standard to go by when determining whether somebody is a Christian. For all practical intents and purposes, a Christian is anybody who believes in Jesus.

If you actually read the available sources, you will notice it's not as simple as saying he was this or that.
I hate these Hitler christian threads as much as I hate the Hitler atheist ones. The truth lies in the middle and that's putting it in a very simplistic way.

Not really, if you read Luther. And it may have started out as a religious prejudice but evolved into a economical, social and and political one in the 19th century. At least as far as the figureheads of antisemitism are concerned. Not only in Europe but also in the USA. Henri Ford among them.
Hitler took his from the persons I mentioned earlier in this thread. And that's largely agreed upon by the scientific community.

Hitler claimed to be Catholic, right?
I'm only giving my opinion based on what I think I know, Abaris.
