I'm a Pantheist , Pantheist is respecting the universe and believing that everything is one. We are all connected. I don't believe in God(s) or any wierd stuff like that. I respect life and it makes logical sense that we all were one at the time of Big Bang. Anyway, Pope is stupid and brainwashed, his religion, even all religions are in danger due to increase in the level of consciousness.

Pope running scared!

The more we (as a species) learn about the Cosmos, the more we are educated and develop the ability to think for ourselves and have the ability to freely express those ideas and question the dogma and superstitions of the past, the more religious authority is threatened and the weaker it gets.
The firework of the enlightenment has been lit, and once you light a firework you can never go back. RE: Pope running scared!

It took them 2 years to figure this out???
is all I can say. PS Before HE came I WAS...don't know where that came from but it is something that has lingered in my mind. Yes the Earth is all the nuturing Mother that we have ...there is a problem with this concept popenfurher?? "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
What did the pope say? I was too busy listening to his victims cry for justice.
When the pope brings those priests to justice, then I may actually read what he says. Yes, I agree. But I believe that countries with no freedom like Saudi Arabia or Kuwait are not considered as "evolved" or developed because they have no freedom and everything is "brainwashed."

Pantheism is a slightly less absurd than Catholicism, and far more attractive. PT Barnum said something like "Nobody ever went broke underestimating public taste or stupidity" There are thousands of people who give their religion as "Jedi" and seem to be serious. A recent survey in the UK showed that about 20% of the population think light sabres are real. Yet 'Star Wars' is only one very long movie,a shallow and old fashioned Space Opera,in the tradition of E E "Doc" Smith. It's fluff, but high class fluff. (well, the first trilogy) If you are a simple minded Christian literalist, I can see how you could see Harry Potter as demonic.---and there are an aweful lot of simple minded Christian literalists around, especially in the US. These are the children of the troglodytes who smashed The Beatles' records after John Lennon observed satirically that The Beatles were more popular than Jesus. Quote:The more we (as a species) learn about the Cosmos, the more we are educated and develop the ability to think for ourselves Elitist nonsense,if you mean formal education. Formal education implies but does not infer intellect or rational thought. Further, I have never seen any evidence that human beings,as individuals or as a species are capable of consistent rational thought or behaviour. RE: Pope running scared!
