The Pet Peeves Thread
RE: The Pet Peeves Thread
I've been bottling this one up for years! But no moar!

Why does every bloody song on the radio have to be about luvvy duvvy stuff?
Don't they realise that their demographic includes over 15 year olds?

What about a nice ballad about the pain of losing a lost limb? Or a knee reconstruction?
Or a rapper singing a sad one about losing his 20 ounce stash?
Hell, even a catchy metal ballad about being evicted illegally from the building you were squatting in for the last 3 years?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Hypocrites are the worst people. If you're real with me whether you're an asshole or a good dude I'll love you for who you are, though I might still be against your views. But if you tell me you hate cookies, actively advocate strongly against eating cookies and then I spot you with your hand inside the cookie jar then you're the last person I'll want to be around. Just that, all people are cool as long as they're real. :')

Does that happen often where you live, people angrily swearing in supermarkets? Smile

If my female ex-roommate, also known as my total cunt of an ex-girlfriend, is shopping in the supermarket, yes.

I agree with Pool that hypocrisy is the worst.

Disingenuousness is awful too.

Sincerity is a wonderful thing.

I've been known to get pretty worked up over limp celery myself . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
