To circumcise or not to circumcise?

I think circumcision is barbaric as well, and completely pointless. And concerning hygiene I don't see the problem with that either... gross explanation to follow:

I've only had to clean out smegma once or twice in my whole life... when I first discovered it by pulling back be foreskin as a teenager. In the more than twenty years since then I've never seen the stuff again, so I think it's essentially a once in a lifetime thing you have to do.

My mom taught me to pull back my foreskin to clean it better. I found out on my teenage years that doing that repeatedly in a fast motion felt nice, something my mom never taught me. I still learned to clean myself, even on those hidden ridges.

No-one ever taught me to clean under there   I had to discover for myself and I remember where I was at the time... pretty near you in fact... on holiday in Majorca... a whole world of possibilities opened up then when I realised you could pull back your foreskin

What does it do? Female circumcision removes more than the skin. Do males who've been circumcised report loss of sensation? inability to function? painful urination? pain of any kind when they are adults?

Yes, this has happened for some. I know someone personally who, even after four years since adult circumcision surgery, still has persistent pain in the glans. Also, some circumcised men have indeed reported gradual loss of sensation since circumcision. You can search for these reports online.
