Ibiblio.org is housed at UNC, so the students are always playing with it. They are dedicated to providing space for "items in the public interest". The space is free if you have something they consider worth sharing with the world, and they cast a wide net there! You can contact them about server space at http://www.ibiblio.org (the FAQ section sounds interesting, never read it myself.)
