Pretty people on TV

RE: Pretty people on TV
You left out Mark Peregrino as Jacob

he's an 11

(and other than Dr. Jack, methinks you've passed out too many 10s to the guys except for Sayid, and you're off by 7 on Charlie)

I'm slightly surprised you didn't mention Nestor Carbonell.

There's loads of others but I was just focusing on the people in the original plane crash and not any of the others or anything like that.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

As a non gay man I'll just have to trust you as a gay man on that.  They look stereotypically attractive to me, especially Boon.

Nestor gets a 12, and I'd carry his baby to term.

Boon had potential, but the character he was portraying was super annoying. The creepy stuff with his 'sister' was creepy too.

They just don't have any good looking people there.

Just kidding. :-)

(It's kinda true though)

Idk, on most shows, even American ones, I wouldn't say the whole cast is there for "sex sells". Typically there's a couple of good looking women and one or two good looking men just for tokenism, but I wouldn't say it's that rampant.

Then again my taste is always weird with actors and I don't tend to like the ones who everyone raves over.

Note the (supposed) best comedy ever, Seinfeld.

None of the main male leads were particularly attractive. Right off the bat, of the entire cast, I can only think of Puddy as being extraordinarily handsome and he was only one of Elaine's boyfriends.

Right and although Elaine was good looking, she wasn't unrealistically so. That's the case with almost all of the most popular shows. Although I like the theory that some people have that people know they are making a shitty show, so they just stock it with models knowing the writing is shit.

Talking about British TV lets not forget about Hollyoaks.  Hollyoaks is near enough a cast of 100% good looking people, when I was a teenager it was 100% good looking girls on that show except one token overweight girl.

Misfits is a more interesting one because I think they did a pretty good job in that show of downplaying the good looks of the cast.

Except for Antonia Thomas because it's scientifically impossible to downplay this kind of good looks

Even when she looks like a chav she looks good.

Or maybe I've just been brainwashed because she plays a really sexual role in the misfits.
