On a related;

over the years we've had birds get in the double garage, and despite opening both garage doors and both people doors, the birds don't have the brain processing power to exit the garage before they starve to death.

I was in the garage yesterday and noted some of those scary blue/black wasps flew into the garage, reconnoitered the facility, and then left without me having to do anything.

Why the effing birds so stooooopid ?

Evilution!

"Wasps first appeared in the fossil record in the Jurassic, and diversified into many surviving superfamilies by the Cretaceous. They are a successful and diverse group of insects with tens of thousands of described species; wasps have spread to all parts of the world except for the polar regions"

"True birds first appeared during the Cretaceous period, around 100 million years ago."

One of them has had more time to develop some skillz.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Gyroscopic stabilization in space!
The first CD player is stopped... the second has a CD spinning inside.

Um, no.

Cassette tapes are more aligned temporally with the space program. Originally used for dictation, cassettes is what your vorlon cut his teeth on in the 70s making mix tapes.

BION, I even made a few 6 hour mix tapes on VHS with a special VCR that could record digital audio on videotape.

That's an obscure media format now. Sigh . . .
