I will start with my favorite book in the "Holy" Bible: The Book of Job. This is my fathers favorite book. We do not see eye to eye on it but I still love the man.
In this wonderful chapter in the Judeo-Christian "Adventure in Genocide" God and Lucifer are best buds. They have a gentlemen's bet. Lucifer says he can make Job say "God Damn it". God says "No you can't because Job is my bitch!". God agrees to let Lucifer have his way with Job and stands by proudly while Lucifer kills Job's wife, sons, daughters, catlle, sheep , horses, goats, and makes his house collapse. Jobs friends taunt and coax him to at least show a little emotion but Job is the perfect sheep and won't make a single bleat against God. He does whine a lot though. God wins the bet and then lectures Job with the longest single tirade in the Bible. He makes sure Job knows who is the dominant partner in this Slave/Master relationship. Lucifer slinks off after this beat down.
The real victims in this tale are sons, daughters, and wife. I guess they got the shaft. At least God gives Job some new ones. He is an awesome God!

There is always collateral damage during wartime?
No one is irreplaceable?
Be careful of the sides you take?
Disturbing.
Peace Out

I don't normally bother, since all the magic books are babyish and bore me to shit.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

“Love is one of the most intense feelings felt by man; another is hate. Forcing yourself to feel indiscriminate love is very unnatural. If you try to love everyone you only lessen your feelings for those who deserve your love."

My daily devotional takes the form of touching myself inappropriately.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

We all know that the God of the Old Testament was an evil, angry, jealous, and vengeful god. But when his son was born it was like he went to anger management. Now Christians were loving and forgiving and so was god. Except when it comes to money. Money is where god draws the line. "Don't fuck with the collection plate!" :
Acts 5:1-11 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.”
When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. Then the young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.
About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”
“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”
Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.
God ! The Capo di tutti capi.
