666 the god of Atheist

The point I am making is that , it seems atheistic thinking substitutes luck where a theist says God.  “God Bless you” becomes “Best of luck.”
Now when a person who truly believes that God exist says God Bless you, he is making a sensible statement from his perspective as he is putting in a good word about you to some one he believes can be of help to you.
However wishing best of luck can have no effect on the outcome as luck by its nature is random and cannot be influenced in any way. It’s wanting to do something yet having to settle at doing nothing.

Isn't putting in a good word for someone asking god to change his perfect plan?  And why would an omniscient god need to have a positive referral at all?  It knows exactly who I am, what I'm doing, what I'm thinking, correct?  Why would it be swayed by another inferior creature's well-wishes?

Again, utter idiocy.

I played D&D type games for many years and never once used a d100. I think I only saw one a few times.

We used 2d10 back in the day (circa 1979-1989). I've seen a d100 a couple of times but no one ever actually used one in our group. As far as I was concerned, they were a solution in search of a problem.

1d4 (pyramid shaped)
1d6 (your normal casino/family game die)
1d8
1d10
1d20 (the one most often used in D&D)
1d100 (for rare percentage rolls, but mostly for the lulz)
I also had d12 and d30.
I saw one of those d100s before, and I swear if you roll it you have to go have lunch or find something else to do for a bit because that thing would just roll forever. Tongue

Each side is so small that it behaves an awfully lot like a sphere. You need a lot of room to roll it. It's more of a novelty to own, because like Kevin(welcome back btw. I was just wondering about you.) said, 2d10 works just fine.

I've never played D&D before...I think I'd get a kick out of it.

The problem I saw with them is that in our gaming sessions, every horizontal surface was covered with books, etc. Any die that wouldn't stop rolling on a irregular non-level surface would never work for us. Damn thing was for are practical purposes a spheroid.

Besides - who can forget the anticipation, after rolling that first 0, of whether or not the next die was going to result in the most excellent and rare 00 or the usually disastrous 01-09?

That was heady stuff.

I once rolled an 01 while trying to defeat a dragon, aiming for its weak spot. The DM didn't see me roll it and so demanded that I reroll. I threw a chair across the room.

My tiefling was pretty good with results. Dn I miss that character. She was a sorcerer with the ability to craft wands and staffs. She was also pretty adept at using her tailwhip ability.
