I still don't get the point of the mothballs...like...do you have moths in your house? Secret ninja moths that only come out to sneak a bite of your shirts?

After reading a bit about it, I'm thinking that getting a fix could be the point for some folks. The active ingredient naphthalene, while quite toxic, is also found to be highly addictive to some individuals. 

She keeps some at the bottom of her purse. Who knows? 
She might be hooked on the vapor. 

Or maybe secret ninja moths are stalking her handbag, everywhere it goes.

I don't have a screen door, and I do get moths.

I don't use mothballs, though. I don't have any wool clothing.

Sure they get in my house sometimes too but then I swoosh them back out so the dogs won't eat them

Living out in the country, I get scads of 'em ... the light draw them from all over.

I wish I had a dog that'd eat the damned things.

Well, it's never been a problem and has been the case as far as I can remember. And I don't eat a lot so that probably contributes. I've always been confused (I won't say envious) about how people can go regular as clockwork every day... like what's his face, Rowan Atkinson in the Thin Blue Line... talking matter of factly about his morning bowel movements

Awesome!! I've just passed the three-year mark. It's starting to really feel like I'm a non-smoker and will stay that way. Congratulations!

I wanted to take this time to thank AF in my own way.  From the moment I joined and shared my introduction, I was given a warm reception mixed with kindness, inquiry, and humor; it was at this moment that I knew I was a part of something truly marvelous.  I’d like to say that the AF community is very special: it is a safe haven where people can gather and discuss their ideas and thoughts openly and without fear; regardless of whether people are secular or non-secular, everyone is made to feel welcome.  In a way, and this is just my observation, AF is a fantastic melting pot rich in diversity.   More importantly, AF is a place where people can form connections with friendly, unique individuals, and for some members, it is like a home filled with loving family members.  Who wouldn’t want to visit such a serene and comforting place? On that note, I’d like to thank Tiberius for creating this website: your creation is like a flower that is continually blossoming into a more beautiful form with each passing day; may the AF flower be one that blossoms forever.  Thank you.
