It was a good episode, they all are in their own unique ways. No doubt. It just didn't reach me in quite the same way that some of the other episodes did though. My all time favorite episode has to be 15 million merits. I have seen the episode 3 or 4 times now, and it still really sucks me in and get me involved.
Took all you people's advice and watched the show.
Just finished season 1 and really enjoyed it.
My favorite episode of the three seasons so far has to be San Junipero.
I quite enjoyed the concept of an artificially created "heaven".

Yeah, the insane thing about Black Mirror is that virtually every technological innovation in the series is being actively worked upon by people who probably liked it, but didn't seem to see what the problem was. I even told my Dad about the ads system in "15 Million Merits" being created in real life and he said he could probably do it himself. I had to dissuade him from turning it into reality. Personally, I'd be surprised if it turned out that neither Obama nor Trump had their militaries try to find some way to make something like the MASS implants in "Men Under Fire" come into being, even if it turned out to just be "yeah, we toyed with the idea, but we couldn't figure out how to pull it off" like they did with the 'gay bomb.' That and I'm sure it would be really difficult to program differences between ISIS and the innocent bystanders necessary to make it work.

Getting ready for work now but when I get time I'm going to make a huge post about how fucking awesome this show is!
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love. Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. I'd like to see that post, because I don't think I have the words to describe how amazing this show is. And despite the controversial main topic of the episode, Shut Up and Dance was one of my absolute favorites. White Bear was also in the top. But I pretty much love all of the episodes a great deal. I really cannot recommend this show enough. * * * Something something dark side * * *

When I did a review of Series 1 and 2 for Anglotopia, the whole thing wound up pushing 7500 words (a length my boss Jonathan described as "bloody long"), it took about five days for me to work on it, and I still feel like I barely scratched the surface. Unfortunately, this same thing is a big part of why I have no plans to do Series 3 (the whole CP plot point in "Shut Up and Dance" and possibly the preponderance of Yank-centric episodes being the others). That said, I do think I'll do White Christmas this year.
