RE: What do scientists say about existence?

Funnily enough, last week I demonstrated the same thing to a friend using a deck of cards to deal out royal flush hands. Using the same selection process of retaining the 'beneficial' results and shuffling the rest, I got all four by the ninth generation. If I had to rely on the purely random method, I'd still be dealing the cards.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

You are presupposing a single idea of a god, YOUR idea, is the only idea. You would be completely wrong on that point.

I noticed that Mariosep/Yrreg has 2 rep, which I found odd. Upon examination, both of the members who gave him rep points have been banned. How does that happen?

A very astute observation. Something that's crossed my mind a few times is, Is there a collective of these self supporting characters, a secret cabal of gobshites? No matter how outrageous the claim there is always someone lurking, ready to bolster the nonsense and give support. You know; some sort of 'Red Book' of woo meisters who can be contacted at sort notice.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

I think of them as coming from an Oort cloud of idiots. Occasionally they become attracted by our gravity, causing them to fall in and fly past. Most simply bugger off back to the shadows of the outer internet system; but sometimes they hang around longer than is welcome or necessary, dropping shit everywhere.

Why is it that they never burn up on entry...?

Everything orbits the Sun in an ellipse, Kepler's 1st Law. It is unlikely that a comet will come close enough to the Sun to burn-up, but it does happen on occasion. Both the Sun and Earth, relative to the solar system are basically point objects with no dimensions.
