I work with a lot of immigrants in my line of work. There are great pockets of Islamic people in my country. Not denying that. But most live in empoverished situations. They, and definitely not their religion, don't have much to say in the way my country is ruled. In it's laws. It's judicial system. On marriage and abortion... On social security... On social housing...
Guess which religion, despite it's power having diminished under the great wave secularisation, still does have, if not a hand than at least a finger, in the equation?
I imagine things being worse, in that regard, in a place like America.

Meanwhile, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in open support of the acts of terrorism in my country. They exist, yes. And they probably, apart from perhaps a few schizophrenic outliers, solely exist in the Islamic subgroup of our population. But they are a fringe of that group. And just like I don't bash christians for being christian, I don't bash muslims for being muslim. I bash those that spout harmful idealogies. Like 'death to all infidels' or 'fags shouldn't be allowed to marry' alike. It's just that I meet more of the latter than of the former (in actually both christian and muslim subgroups).

A few years back now, from '10 tot '12, we had Sharia 4 Belgium. A hatefull, radical muslim organization calling for Sharia in Belgium. Our response was tardy, but not due to fear of backlash from the Islamic community. Rather because Belgium is one shitheap of bureaucracy. Yet despite that, the hate-organization was made to disband. THey were being dragged before court but were disbanded before they could face it. Their leader was given a prison sentence for enciting hatred. 12 years.

Be religious and keep it to yourself, I probably won't care.

Also, and this is just my opinion. 'Beta males' and 'alpha males' are terms best not used unironically.
