Testimony is Evidence

How many people gave witness testimony after being martyred?

I stole that from an old art joke:

An artist walks into a gallery with his portfolio. The gallery owner looks at the work approvingly and says, "Your work is wonderful. I'm sure it will sell very well. Come back to me when you're dead."

Who's to say I cannot see an invisible dragon?

If it's invisible then how could you?

Really I cited a couple of pages (each containing multiple pages) of lawyers who disagree with you.  You may also want to look up on historical method, which discusses testimony as evidence quite a bit.

However, I'm less concerned with you repeating your claim, as I am more concerned with why or your reasoning.

Lawyers, huh? Can't say I have a lot of faith in lawyers. I'm too lazy to look it up. It just seems common sense that claims don't count as evidence alone. Otherwise I'd believe anything I read about in a book.

Fine.  Can we agree that testimony is not equally sufficient? for all types of claims?  How does that sit with you?

I think that it depends on what you mean.

How do you not know what I mean...? I've only been yapping at you about it across three threads.

If I claim that I saw a black Dodge Charger on the way home from the park today, is my witness testimony, alone, sufficient to convince you my claim is true?

If I claim that I saw a gremlin eating the wheels off of a black Dodge Charger on the way home from the park today, is my witness testimony, alone, sufficient to convince you my claim is true?

This is an easy one, RR.

It's a shame I've already repped you. Though, maybe I'll update it cuz, sensus dragonus needs memorializing. 😁

Because I'm able to see the invisible.

That's my testimony. Why do you find it incredible?

Through the power of Jehovah, the lord of dragons, obviously!
