There is no doubt that it is upon God to show the way, and provide proof, but you can't just decide what that would be and decide how you are to approach this issue.

You guys know exactly how the proof of God would be, how he would want to connect with us, and you know exactly what God would do.

It is upon God to show the way, correct. An entity that people claim created billions of galaxies can communicate with it's creations. It can find a way to do this without human assistance. And it can provide PROOF - measurable, verifiable, clear proof of its existence without human assistance.
While it's busy doing that, it would be nice if it would clearly show WHICH of the 5000 or so named gods it happens to be. And maybe stop it's followers, whoever they are, from killing each other because the other group worships it wrong or insults it and hurts its widdle feelings. And then it's followers wouldn't have to throw stinking piles of silly word salad woo at people who don't agree with them any more. Whatever would they do for fun?

There is a dark sinister force that always corrupts religion - and people are too afraid to look at it in its dark evil heart. It is always the case the worst of humans end up being regarded as pure wise leaders to be relied on for religion and the propaganda is such that the truthful are regarded as fabricators and the liars are taken as reliable authorities regarding it. Truth is to be known through reasoning, Quran is to be understood through reflecting over its verses along with the Sunnah that is its explanation, and when you know the truth, then find its people. Don't look for people that are praised to find the truth just because they are praised by the masses - no that should be a serious clue that the magic of the dark forces WANT people to follow that person. As for the family of the reminder who have proof regarding their purity from God and do hold authority, they are asked, because they clarify through reasoning and make humanity reflect on truths and their words are light. That is why they should be the focus of attention - even with all the fabrications surrounding them - their is enough hadiths that manifest and make us reflect enough to show the way and the proper religion. As for the false leaders who wish that people look towards them and listen to them as if they are authoritative representatives of the religion, God always warns that Satan always has a clutch on that place and position and inspires his friends to hide the truth, and as for those weak minded who wish to be deceived, it is they who follow them. We aren't to pick to our leaders and call them righteous by our desires, the path to God is chosen by him, the leaders who guide by God's command are chosen by him. #Killuminati
When deceivers come up with their explanation of why they deceived humanity for so long - and their supposed benevolent reasons - and their explanation of the new world order they want for humanity and why now humanity is finally ready to be shown the truth - be sure the Quran has already refuted them.
