"By the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful, Alif Lam Mim, there is no doubt in that book a guidance for those who guard. Those who believe in the hidden..."
"..why not has a sign been brought down upon him, say: the hiding (of it) is for God, so wait, we too are of those who wait"
"Until there came to them the clear proof. A Messenger reciting God's signs...."
"...brought down you a reminder.  A Messenger who recites God's signs..."
"...why not has a sign been brought down upon him, say: You are only a warner and for every people, there is a guide"
"And verily we brought down the book of Moses so do not be in doubt in receiving it and we made it a guidance to the children of Isreal. And we made from them Leaders who guide by our Command for what they were patient for and they were certain of our signs."
By the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful, Alif Lam Mim Saud, a book we have brought down to you so there be no straightness in your breast that you may warn by it and a reminder to the believers.
And indeed we know your breast is straightened by what they say.
And say God cause me to enter an honest entering and go forth an honest going forth, and give me from you a helping authority.
By the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful, did we not expand you your breast?
He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me,
And make my affair easy to me,
And loose the knot from my tongue,
(That) they may understand my word;
And give to me a vicegerent from my family:
Haroun, my brother,
Strengthen my back by him,
And associate him (with me) in my affair,
So that we should glorify Thee much,
And remember Thee much.
And my breast straitens, and my tongue does not reach, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me);
And my brother, Haroun, he is more reaching in tongue than I, therefore send him with me as an aider, verifying me: surely I fear that they would reject me.

And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us leaders to those who guard (against evil).

Their Prophet said to them: "Allah hath appointed Talut as king over you." They said: "How can he exercise authority over us when we are better fitted than he to exercise authority, and he is not even gifted, with wealth in abundance?" He said: "Allah hath Chosen him above you, and hath gifted him abundantly with knowledge and bodily prowess: Allah Granteth His authority to whom He pleaseth. Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."
And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a sign for you if ye indeed have faith."
And he said: Embark therein, for by the name of God is it going forth and its anchoring.
Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we rose Twelve Captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practice regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude."
All that we relate to thee of the stories of the messengers,- with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a remembrance to those who believe.
Allah desires to explain to you, and to guide you into the ways of those before you, and to turn to you (mercifully), and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
Or do they have a share in the authority? So that they would not give to the people a speck of a date stone.
Or is (really) that they envy the people for what God has given them out of his grace? So indeed we gave the family of Abraham, the book and the wisdom, and we gave them a great authority.
O you who believe, obey God and obey the Messenger and those who possess the Authority from you, therefore if you dispute in a thing, refer it to God and the Messenger, if you believe in God and the last day....
How will it be, then, when We bring from every peoplewitness and bring you as a witness against these?
And on the day when We will raise up a witness out of every people, then shall no permission be given to those who disbelieve, nor shall they be made to solicit favor
Most surely We help Our messengers, and those who believe, in this world’s life and on the day when the witnesses shall stand.
And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these.

And I was a witness over them while I lived among them

And the earth shineth with the light of her Lord, and the Book is set up, and the prophets and the witnesses are brought, and it is judged between them with truth, and they are not wronged.

And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, these are with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favors from among the prophets and the truthful and the witnesses and the good, and a goodly company are they!

s he then who has with him clear proof from his Lord, and a witness from him recites it and before it (is) the Book of Musa, a guide and a mercy? These believe in it; and whoever of the (different) parties disbelieves in it, the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: surely it is the truth from your Lord, but most men do not believe.

And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah? These shall be brought before their Lord, and the witnesses shall say: These are they who lied against their Lord. Now surely the curse of Allah is on the unjust.

O Prophet! surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of good news and as a warner,
The day when We will call every people with their Leader so whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly.
 And We made them leaders who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the alms, and Us (alone) did they worship/serve;
Surely Ibrahim was a course/way, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists.
Nay! they say: We found our fathers on a course, and surely we are guided by their footsteps.
And surely this is your course one course and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me.
And from the people of Moses was a course whom guide by the truth and by it they establish justice.
And We divided them into twelve branches, ways; and We revealed to Moses when his people asked him for water: Strike the rock with your staff, so sprang from it twelve springs; each tribe knew its drinking place; and We made the clouds to give shade over them and We sent to them manna and quails: Eat of the good things We have given you. And they did not do Us any harm, but they did injustice to their own souls.

And from who we have a create is a course whom guide by the truth and by it they establish justice.
God chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of Imran over the worlds. Offspring, some of it from some, indeed he is hearing knowing.
These are they on whom Allah bestowed favor, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the signs of the Compassionate were recited to them, they fell down in prostration and weeping.
So on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others).
They thought there will be no trial so they became blind and deaf; after that God turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is the All-Seer of what they do.
A book whos verse/signs are expounded/explained, a recitation in Arabic for a people who know.
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet, but when he desired, the Shaitan made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the Shaitan casts, then does Allah establish His signs, and Allah is Knowing, Wise,
So that He may make what the Shaitan casts a trial for those in whose hearts is disease and those whose hearts are hard; and most surely the unjust are in a great opposition,
And that those who have been given the knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, so they may believe in it and their hearts may be lowly before it; and most surely Allah will guide those who believe into a right path.
And those who disbelieve shall not cease to be in doubt concerning it until the hour overtakes them suddenly, or there comes on them the chastisement of a destructive day.
Say: Whatever wage I have asked of you so than it is for yourselves; my (personal) wage is with God, and He is a witness of all things.
Say: I do not ask you a wage, that he who will, may take a way to his Lord.
Or is it that you ask them a recompense? So then the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance.
And most surely you call them to a straight path.
That is of which God gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you a wage for it but love for the near relatives (of mine); and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely God is Forgiving, Grateful.
And certainly We gave knowledge to Dawood and Sulaiman, and they both said: Praise be to Allah, Who has made us to excel many of His believing servants.
One who had the knowledge from the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled beside him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored.
And when the angels said: O Marium! surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the world.
Have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves? Nay, Allah attributes purity to whom He pleases; and they shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone.
And of men and beasts and cattle are various species of it likewise; those of His servants only who are possessed of knowledge fear Allah; surely Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.
Surely they who recite the Book of Allah and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly, hope for a gain which will not perish.
That He may pay them back fully their rewards and give them more out of His grace: surely He is Forgiving, Multiplier of rewards.
And that which We have revealed to you of the Book, that is the truth verifying that which is before it; most surely with respect to His servants Allah is Aware, Seeing.
Then We gave the Book for an inheritance to those whom We chose from among Our servants; so of them is he who makes his soul to suffer a loss, and of them is he who takes a middle course, and of them is he who is foremost in deeds of goodness by Allah's permission; this is the great excellence.
What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge?

Will you not then mind?

Or have you a clear authority?

Then bring your book, if you are truthful.
And we did not send before you except men who we revealed to, therefore ask the family of the reminder if you do not know

More like Everclear 190-proof.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

And no gymnastics or textual walls ! no implicit answers!
Just give me one verse, across the 600 pages of the Quran that mentions any of the 5 questions' answers.

I'll give you many options; all prove your religion if you answer them:
1- A verse mentioning "Ali" by the name.
2-A verse mentioning "Hasaen" by the name.
3-A verse mentioning "Hussain" by the name.
4-A verse mentioning the 12 divine imams that we must follow
5-A verse mentioning the last imam that you and your cult believe will rule the universe or whatever -Imam Mahdy-

Again:

Thank you. You just proved that Shiite sect has NO MENTION in the Quran; it's a cult that resulted from the Islamic difference of opinions between scholars. Without the textual walls and Hadith books; the Shiite cult has nothing to even link it with the Quran.

That's why the religion uses extreme bloody violent acts to rule and govern it followers; like the following acts mentioned by many media organizations like the Independent:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/...54271.html

The sect also considers lying about the true hideous belief, a virtue according to the Taqya doctrine:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiya#Shia_Islam_view

Both Shia and Sunna are a time-bomb waiting to explode in the Middle East. And no matter how they claimed they are practicing the Quran; they are practicing nothing but textual walls from outdated, backward Hadith sources that compose their cults.

Verse 5:12.... Proves the following with the context of the Surah and the context of Quran and with all the verses holding onto each other.

The Day God completed the religion and perfected his favor on humanity took on a similar form of what took place in the past, God through Moses took a covenant with the children of Israel regarding Twelve Captains who are entrusted to navigate society on the course they are meant to come to, and navigate them by the authority of God and make people understand the words of their founder and this is saying this is not a new way, but a perfection of the way and God has completed his favor on humanity, because of a similar covenant with respect to a similar Twelve Navigators, Leaders, and Witnesses so that burden on Mohammad's back be lifted, and the straightness on his heart be expanded, as God did in the past with the succession of Aaron, so he did with Ali's Authority.

The verse is:

Quote:Sura 5, The Quran:
( 12 )   And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."

Are you the ancient children of Israel?
Not even close to the modern ones even; have an Israeli passport?

I'm not debating; the debate is over already. My questions again:

RE: Enlightened rants...
The post above was the commentary, while I decided to post other verses, I only commented really on one.

The thing is without showing all those verses, people might think I am taking a verse out of context, so I wanted to show some context in Quran. There is a lot of emphasis and re-emphasis in Quran from one verse to another.

It explains itself, and so, to a non-Muslim who doesn't think: 5:12 will not say much. And to Sunnis, it doesn't really prove anything either to Ahlul-Kitab. But to me it proves everything. I mean by that, what morality truly is and by it proves God, what the light is and proves it's source and destination, what leadership truly is and the only one who can designate it to a person, what the true religion always has been and will it will away be, and the path to knowledge as opposed to ignorance.

But the expansion of every verse and it's purpose is the whole Quran. Each verse has a purpose with respect to whole Quran.

And this verse brings everything together in a marvelous ring, a jewel, beautifies it, and proves everything in it.
