Don't listen to that kind of propaganda.  It's people like Mathilda looking for more power who encourage people to emancipate themselves off the death/rebirth cycle.  And why you think they do that, huh?  That's right the salesman who seals the deal gets 25% of the power.  Why do you think Rik hangs out here?  Bet you never thought of that, did you little gun-nutter kitty?

Mathilda is bright enough to gain power in such a scheme.

Rik? Not so much. Marketing 101: Know your target demographic.

Didn't think of that, did you, garden-dog master hedonist in dotage?  Lightbulb

Yes, I admit that it's a spiritual pyramid scheme. But that's why you need to get in now at the beginning!

So there you go. Don't pretend you didn't hear and even practice Shivambu Shastra since it was re-invented and practiced by people just like you that are new-agey and collecting "teachings" from popular deities and don't like to be put in any religion.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Well yeah but we have intuitional science now to properly exploit the spiritual world.

Think about the implications if you can astrally project into people's private quarters and see and hear what they are doing. I'm thinking that there would be huge demand for corporate espionage. How much Samsung pay for example to hear that Apple are going to delay shipping their new iPhone or what they would give to know of planned features. As for governments and the military, well, the need there is obvious. All those spies during war-time risking their lives when they could have just stayed at home and meditated in their bedrooms.

Obviously the astral projection agents need to be well trained and that takes resources. But if we act quick we can corner the market before too many people figure it out from reading books from New Age shops.

I'm a believer.

I'm in, and I volunteer to be among the first trainees.

But I must stipulate that the powers I develop through intuitional science can only be used for good. I will restrict my activities to gathering playbook and game plan information from each team the Vikings are about to play, to carefully monitoring water pressure and temperature in the showers of every venue featuring women dancing (you know, for safety reasons), and to conducting intelligence reconnaissance on behalf of the Swiss navy.
