I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Just one day I would like to glance at Fox and not immediately feel so brain-weary that I want to put a pistol in my mouth.

Bad plan. Always shoot horizontal to the head. Whoever thought pistol to mouth was a good idea... was an idiot. So often it fails any they blow out their cheek. Or Throat. Or jaw.
It's stupid. Really stupid. NEVER from the mouth. ALWAYS one ear to the other.
Anyway, I'm not even going to read it, as it's probably as stupid as fox usually is.

Well, Miss morbid pants, If you can aim well enough to go from ear to ear, you can aim well enough to go through the roof of the mouth into the brain stem, which eliminates the off-chance of persistent vegetative state with greater assurance.

Hard to miss when it goes flat to your head. Easy when in something as malleable as your mouth. It's the difference between shooting a target flat on, and shooting it backwards through some gelatin at the target.
Further, you are dead when in a vegetive state of the sort. That your platform lives on is irrelevant.

Hey, wouldn't you like to die with the assurance of a job well done, rather than having your memory besmirched by the tedious mess that you bequeath?

No. If I am committing suicide: it is because life and everything in it is of less worth than ending the suffering I experience.
Though indeed, I would do a good job with the suicide (I'd slice down the road from a wrist and deeply gouge my abdomen before the shot, after intaking a strongly toxic level of substances, and ensure that my corpse will be on top of a roaring bonfire full of diesel and whatnot)... but that is due to my perfectionistic nature. I'd also stab the jugular through along with my shot.
Oh, and if I were still pre-op by the time I would do this: I would castrate myself for justice's sake.
I understand that many people wish to rush a suicide... as a way to get them through it faster. Me? The last thing I wish to experience is dying. It wouldn't be a long time, granted, since that shot would come not even a minute after beginning. But it would be an experience indeed

You'll end your suffering either way, why not leave less of mess to clean up?

Is the desire to live on as morbid grist for the standup comedy mill worth all that much trouble?

I think even Japanese seppuku is not quite up to the needs of female self-castration.

To bad it would just be the sort of hanging, so to speak, experience that that forestalls any resume on which it might be put.
(Chuck frantically googling the number for suicide prevention hotline in Aerzia's neighborhood)

Someone else gets to clean the mess. If I'm ending my suffering: the world can go to shit for all I care

Absolutely. I am, after all, a clown ^_^

Helps then that I have a penis to lop off, and will until either next year or some point 'shortly' thereafter

Not a problem, since the resume can die in the fire alongside me.
