This is what I consider to be the dumbest comment about evolution, ever:

What if Ray comfort were Poeing the crap out of us, while getting donations from those xtians so eager to pay their way into god?
That would make a novel and a half.
The Bananaman has sold millions of books, he would never come out as a Poe even if he was one.

It might not even be a dumb question because the person could have been 12 years old and it could be the first question about evolution they've ever asked. It's more dumb that the adults and everyone else on the forum took the question to be a serious flaw in evolution.
After talking to a lot of people about evolution in real life, in person. And with people who are religious and non religious, I think a massive amount of people put no effort into understanding evolution anyway. Yes! I had one conversation about evolution with a group of diverse friends a few years ago. We had like 20 minutes at lunch, and just by explaining it most of them went from not caring at all to understanding it. Didn't quite get through to an islamic friend because she had gone to much of elementary/middle school in Turkey so there was a lot of ground to cover in terms of very basic science. But I was amazed with how little consideration most of them had given to my favorite branch of science!

Any one of "I humans came from monkeys why are there still monkeys", to ""Hitler was a Darwinist who believed in evolution!"
And so much stupid in between.

I can’t stomach a full four minutes of this ignorance.

This is why I do not want Trump impeached. Unless the legal charges bring this chuckle-fuck down too, things will only get worse. Better the dems take back the house ant the senate and simply stonewall Trump for two years than let this theocratic ass hat into the center seat.

"If we evolved, how did we take a leak if we had to wait millions of years for our organs to develop?"

"Where do we acquire the right to believe that man has not always been what he is now? The study of nature teaches us that, in the animal kingdom just as much as in the vegetable kingdom, variations have occurred. They've occurred within the species, but none of these variations has an importance comparable with that which separates man from the monkey — assuming that this transformation really took place."
