Real Xtian kid would posted something like "Prayed to not lose my eternal salvation and talked to xtian friends about how lucky we are to know Jesus".

You certainly aren't a Christian.

Either he doesn't know what he got himself into yet judging by his carefree attitude because of the young age or he is lying.

My mother was a hoarder. I lived through that shit throughout my childhood. I couldn't have friends for fear they'd see how I lived. I hated my parents for it.

I'm sorry. No child should ever have to live through that.

On a duty weekend and thought that I was in the clear for the rest of Sunday, having already done an early departure boarding and finished my updates.

Then, within about ten minutes, one of my ships completely lost propulsion mid-river and had to anchor, and I was informed that -- surprise! -- another vessel I'm working magically gained a full day and will now berth early-morning tomorrow, rather than Tuesday as expected.

The former problem results in a flurry of phone calls and messages to get the Coast Guard restriction, inform the relevant parties, arrange for a Class surveyor to board for inspection and a report to USCG that the problem is fixed, and follow up with the Coast Guard to get the restriction lifted. The latter means I had to get some poor cargo broker to drop everything on a weekend to file his customs entry for that cargo so we can submit our lade order to CBP.

Looks like I'm going to be chained to my laptop until this is all resolved.

Been sick through about 1/3 of the day the past 2 days. through some of it my blood glucose is below 100 for some of it it's higher. So I don't know if it's the diabete's and false hypoglycemia or something else. Maybe it's the dieting.

..normal level of glucose in the blood on an empty stomach is 70-99 mg / dl ... but of course in your case it may be different ... each case is different..so take care of yourself!!!
Btw I hope everything is alright now and you feel much much better?

TIL that Nissan puts shit tires on their cars.  Less than 30k miles and the wear indicators are just about kaput.

Nissan ain't the only ones. Had to replace mine early (according to miles) on both the Toyota and Kia.

Oddly enough, my Kia with about the same mileage has plenty of rubber on the wheels. It's abmid-level trim though. The Nissan is base.
