The Asleepening

The Asleepening
(With semi-sincere apologies to MK)

What is The Asleepening?

It's the bored feeling atheists get when we hear repetitive claims from theists about their deities, their religions, their beliefs, and why we should accept their claims as fact.

It is the feeling we get when they threaten us with eternal torment if we don't believe what they're telling us.

It's the feeling we get when we are told why we're atheists, why we think the way we do, and what we believe.

It's the feeling we get when we're told that we need to prove there are no deities and that we should accept claims about THEIR deity but no other.

It is the feeling we get when we get quotes from holy books, personal testimonies, or arguments from ignorance as the reason we should believe.

It is the feeling when we read any of the above, yawn, and decide it's just not worth engaging any more.

That is what The Asleepening is.

Sorry Beccs, the analogy doesn't work. It's not an asleepening, it's an afrustratinging.

If it were an asleepening, I wouldn't care enough to join a message board like this. It wouldn't matter enough. Unfortunately, these people are organized and make their best effort to do harm to the world. They MUST be opposed despite my weariness to oppose them. They are relentless and so so must we. We are winning but the only way that will continue is if we keep it up.

A message board like this may seem trivial to some people but I think it is seriously important. The internet is a major stage and it allows us to broadcast our message. I believe that the availability of it has played a major role in our success in scaling back religious thought through-out the world over the past two decades. We must keep it up.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Now that's funny, I have the same problem with them even though I am a Christian! I don't believe in man made fuckin' theologies! I've translated and read the bible in the autographed languages of it. I do NOT agree to disagree! They're just plain stupid! I'm wonder where they got all that stuff? Do you love me now! Please, please please!!!
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

Eternal torment?

Why not.  Rolleyes

Isn't an eternal torment to be born again and again  Banghead until people learn the lesson how to create real progress and reach the goal of life?

Once the thick brain understand how the system works the eternal torment become the eternal bliss. Lightbulb

Based on the title I thought it is the 7th Day Adventists dirt nap.
