This whole situation is sad. I feel bad for his children and his wife but what's even worse is that not one of the kavanaugh supporters on this thread has shown any empathy for Dr. Ford's children.

Women in general who are getting the message yet again, loud and clear, that we don't matter.
Sexual assault survivors who are getting the message yet again, loud and clear, that we don't matter and our story doesn't matter, and that if we report, we will be scrutinized, ridiculed, blamed and discredited.
People insisting that this is a partisan issue.
People insisting that Democrats believe her and disbelieve him, rather than everyone wanting to just know the fucking truth.
