You can't invalidate a belief system by a construct of one person who happens to be in that belief system.  Equally, you can't validate atheism, Hinduism, Islam, or any other religion by invalidating the said argument.  None of them are dependent on those three being the only possibilities.

I'm saying stop eating the cake and just look at the friggin ingredients list. If it includes kill all infidels and world domination then probably should not eat it.

If the list includes a guy citing a bible that has been ammended by 2 other books because of it'c views on women people of all color and slavery then don't eat the cake. If a religion allows you to blow anything up for the reason of disagreeing on a world view don't eat the cake. ALL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE get something from religion. they are false in God does not support all religion, but to not make the error in thinking they are FAKE as something is powering these deep seeded views!

You're thinking seems to be very simplistic.

Maybe it's not the person baking the cake at all that's the problem.  Maybe it's the recipe.  Maybe the eggs were bad in the first sample.  Maybe they went to the grocery store and bought more eggs from the same batch and got another bad cake.  When you start asking the important questions and finding ways to control the problem(s), then you'll start to understand what it means to be "scientific."  Go taste all the cakes you want.  While you're doing that, those who practice real science will be finding the problem, fixing it, then eating the improved cake while you're busy eating the same defective cakes, not realizing there's a party back at the kitchen, and everybody is eating good cake without you.  But that doesn't mean you couldn't have been there too.

You don't have to. The important thing is that all contribute some way to society. You don't even have to be a "scientist" or understand certain facets of the things in your life that science may produce.  That doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt to understand some things, and that doesn't mean you can't be other things while you learn.  But whatever you choose to be, you should try to be the best version of that you can be.  If I go to the store and buy a cake, I can just put a certain amount of trust that when I buy that cake, someone else put the same care and it won't taste nasty.  And if I order a cake, hopefully I'm on friendly terms with the baker and they don't sabotage my order.
