I've been wondering for some time why, say, Extinction Rebellion haven't been targeting airports. Jet planes dump tons of CO2 straight into the upper atmosphere see - it's one of the very worst (and most needless, frankly) causes of AGW.

That's...incredibly backwards thinking.  You have no evidence whatsoever that these drones are linked to any activists for any cause of any kind.  The massive population of livestock farms is also a huge contributor.  If there was suddenly a mass killing of cows somewhere, would you link it to climate activists as well?

They arrested 2 people that used drones. Good. Let them feel the strong arm of justice up their arses. They endanger innocent people with those drones. If they don't know that can bring a plane down during take off and landing, then the law should take drone usage as tightly as guns. This excludes the US were guns are sacred. The guns are equal to jesus, that had no guns.

What this has to do with climate change is beyond me. So much mental illnesses around, it's hard to keep up.

Placing innocent people boarding planes in danger is and always will be condemned by me. No matter of motives, there is not any justification for that.

I love the " make them register them" as a " solution to the misuse of drones.

I have FAA registration numbers on all of my RC aircraft that were called as being required to be registered ( they have since dropped the requiirement).

Why?? I have built and flown radio controled aircraft for almost 40 years. I have built hundreds of fixed wing aircraft - many of my own design. I' ve flown helicopters since before the advent of computer radios. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on the hobby - but in recent years - much less - as I have gotten good enough that crashes are now a rarity rather than the norm. (I recently retired one sport plane that flew 15 years - with the same propeller. )

I have always done my best to ensure that my aircraft were flown in as safe a manner as possible. It' s simply too expensive to do otherwise.

So - I have to register my equipment - because some cunt wants to cause mayhem with a machine that he will likely never register.

 [Sarcasm]

Fuck yeah - that always fixes the problem!!!.

What if it's a black drone with extended magazines?
