It MAY have been derived from a typo, although I doubt that, although YMMV, and subsequent manifestations of the word "athetits" such as that of the image you posted are, by my mind, extremely likely deliberate. Theism does not an illiterate necessitate.
Perhaps I might make a "typo" of my own along these lines: theists theshits

I always thought that only Muslims have a thing for Israel, but it seems Christians have a thing for Israel as well
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Back in 2014 a loose helium balloon shaped like a horse prompted many Muslims to think it was Buraq (Muhammad's flying horse), especially when it was video recorded and shared on Muslim sites as a "real deal"

They must have gone batshit - and thought the world was ending when during a photo session for Pink Floyd's "Animals" LP cover - that the flying pig broke it's moorings and floated off..... Apparently airliners spotted it at 20,000 feet..... Try reporting THAT to approach and see if they don't meet you at the gate with drug testing gear....

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I'm glad the arrow's there.
I might have missed it otherwise.

Yeah, I'd've never found it either.

But SOME people need explicit directions...
