It’s fine that it’s in the humour section. I actually think it’s a pretty clever idea for a thread (which is why I’ve been participating). I’m just saying that I wasn’t aware that you wanted us to guess which songs were being referenced - because you never said so.

When it comes to the humor section, I don't think it needs to be taken as seriously as wearing masks, which everyone should do.

Lol, there’s nothing wrong with it being a guessing game. I love guessing games (having posted more than a few here myself). I’m just saying that I didn’t know it was a guessing game.

I have a personal love, for the song, but not for what you think.

I sucked at backtiming, which is radio math of judging the song playing vs the song you wanted to end in the next song.  I SUCKED at that math. So at the end of my show I always picked a long song that would give me enough music and no voice to fade out without doing the timing bullshit.

American pie was 5 billion hours long, so I always ended my public radio access show because I was too lazy to time the top of the hour song to the next show. I just faded it out because it had more music than vocals. EDIT, I should say that it had far more chorus's than verses. but the song was so long, I always trusted it to end my show on the chorus's.
