If I reacted the same way Jews and Muslims and Christians have over your reactions to my posting ABBA videos, tell me, seriously. would you find any real violence justified? Don't worry, I could care less what posters think of my musical taste or my poetry.

MY POINT is, that humans still, and unfortunately fight over old superstitions.

Your first sentence is incomplete.

I don’t think religious violence is justified, if that’s what you’re asking.

If you don’t care what other people think about your poetry and your musical tastes, why do you keep posting poems and music videos?

What does religious violence have to do with necroposting?

You might as well ask a dolphin why it whistles all the time.

Just toss him a fish every once and a while and watch the show....

I couldn't care less.

I could care less means that you could, in fact, care less.

Since when is necroposting on a forum considered a superstition?

RE: Necroposting
If it's done accidentally once or twice, or on a post that's currently relevant, it's not a problem as far as I'm concerned.

If it's done repeatedly on threads that are no longer relevant, especially after notice has been given, then there needs to be staff action.

Yea, because humans of every religion worldwide, still pontificate and defend the mythology of antiquity in an age where humans have put humans on the moon, and have the Hubble Space Telescope. But lets dwell on the rantings of a species that didn't know where the sun went at night.

You seem to be having trouble grasping what this thread is about. Allow me to try to help.

Eleven added a post to a Second Amendment thread that hadn’t had a new post in a year and a half. That post triggered OLB into making this thread.

It’s nothing to do with religion or science or the human species or antiquated beliefs or anything else that’s got you so worked up.

(dad joke)

The ultimate "necroposting" is every ancient mythology/religion worldwide that people worldwide claim is still valid today.

Can one argue that there are motifs of compassion/kindness/justice/heroism in every religious tradition.  ABSOLUTELY, there is not one religion in the world that doesn't make those claims.

But the populations of Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Ancient Rome, Ancient India, Ancient Iran or Saudi Arabia, or Ancient Europe, none of them worldwide, could have known how more related our species really is.

What the fuck are you talking about?

You went off your victim medication again didn't you.
