He was 67; was in the hospital wasting away for well over a week. No visitation but a nurse held his hand while he died, no doubt with rubber gloves, but, it's the thought that counts.

I'm seeing it around here too, but not yet with family members.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Sorry to hear about your loss.
Yeah, my condolences. It's really like a war this pandemic.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
I'm sorry to hear. This is a bad time. I've been worried about my parents getting it.
Really sorry for your loss.
If you need to talk to someone, PM me. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"

That sucks. Condolences.

Sorry to hear it.
I'm very sorry.
It's bad enough that COVID is taking the lives of so many but even worse that most of those people die alone or with strangers. |
