My uncle died from COVID19 today.

He was 67; was in the hospital wasting away for well over a week. No visitation but a nurse held his hand while he died, no doubt with rubber gloves, but, it's the thought that counts.

I am truly sorry, and offer my condolences. I'm seeing it around here too, but not yet with family members.

I'm very sorry.

It's bad enough that COVID is taking the lives of so many but even worse that most of those people die alone or with strangers.
